Privacy Policy

We may collect account details such as your name, email address, and profile information when you sign in. When you use the recording feature, the app may process camera, microphone, screen recording, and recording metadata including file name, duration, size, and creation time.

Aks requests access to the camera, microphone, and, where supported, screen capture only when those permissions are required for a recording flow initiated by you.

We use collected information to:

• authenticate and manage user accounts,
• record, save, preview, download, and share videos,
• improve app stability, quality, and performance,
• provide support and respond to user issues.

Recordings may be stored locally on your device, inside browser storage, or in connected cloud services such as Firebase Storage, depending on the feature you use and the platform you are on. A video is shared publicly only when you explicitly trigger a share action.

Aks uses Firebase services such as Authentication, Firestore, and Storage to support sign-in, configuration data, saved content, and shareable links. These services may process data as described in Google's terms and privacy documentation.

Locally stored recordings remain available until you delete them or remove the app data. Cloud-stored or shared content may remain until deleted by you or removed as part of service maintenance or administrative actions.

We use reasonable technical measures and platform services to help protect data, but no method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be fully secure.

You can control permissions through your device or browser settings. You may also sign out, delete recordings, and stop using the service at any time.
